PERSONAL NOTE FROM EMILY

For over a decade I have served this County as a District Attorney. I have fought for the rights and justice of children, women and the underserved. I have comforted those during the worst times of their lives. I have scrutinized the facts of each case presented to me and ensured that the law is followed. I strive to be fair and just in my interactions and cases with all, including defendants.
The job of a District Attorney isn’t just to put people in prison and get the win. My job is to do what is right.
As a judge, I not only want to help the victims of crime but also the defendants that are in a system that they can’t get out of.

As judge for Los Angeles County, I will use my experience as a deputy district attorney, but I will also use my sense of fairness, understanding, and compassion.

Please vote for me for Judge on March 3, 2020!
